Fleet Tracking Features: CAN-bus Interface

CAN-bus (Controller Area Network bus) provides a mechanism for interfacing with the onboard vehicle telematics. We capture all of the standard FMS parameters, including:

  • Wheel-based speed
  • Clutch, brake, and accelerator positions
  • Cruise control status
  • Fuel level
  • Fuel consumption
  • Engine revs
  • Engine coolant temperature
  • Driver/tachograph details

CAN-bus specific screens are provided within the service, as well as additional reports and graphs.
